sure we traded this for convenience but didnt it feel so much better picking your movie or game out then having that satisfaction of it being available and not rented out? and an excuse to go out of your way or house to go outside and into a store. nowadays kids just sit wt home all day due to convenience and covid.

nah not really I wasn't allowed to play console games growing up unless it was at my friends house and we got movies sometimes when I was a kid but they were always in stock.
As soon as that original dvd delivery mail thing happened my parents never went to block buster.
The last time I did go to block busters was like 10 years ago because I lived right next to one and they printed out a coupon for a free dvd everytime so I would just go for free movies

yea but i eas there when the super nintendo era was really alive i mean imagine the joy of being able to rent a movie and a game like chrono trigger that cost like 70 dollars in a store and few other kids had but all talked about. i later had my step brother who worked in a small video store similar to blockbuster in rancho cucamanga rent out free playstationa nd saturn for me with games.
