Hey folks, vape ban kicks in April 1st
-
2021-03-18 at 1:53 PM UTCThis is your last chance to get in on deals before USPS, FedEx, and UPS are banning the transport of vape products entirely. A lot of companies are bowing down to this and have good sales. Others say there's no way they can get a regulatory framework up and running in time and thus won't be able to enforce this, so they are not shutting down. So we'll see if this actually happens, but there ARE some great sales on carts and mods right now. If you need any coils now is the time.
Any good mod suggestions? I am looking at the Voopoo drag 2 because I like one of their multicolor designs. Needs good TC with like a gene chip or similar, OR the ability to use custom firmware like Arctic Fox, like my pico 75w which is still kicking ass after 3 years. -
2021-03-18 at 1:58 PM UTCFuck I should sell vape juice on the darknet lololol

Honestly there's already a black market for that shit here because they're banning flavors in some cities. They just 'caught' a bunch at O'hare airport the other day. It also had cartoon characters on it just like the black market THC carts I've bought before lol. -
2021-03-18 at 2:08 PM UTCi wold put it in nail polish bottles or something, not actual vape bottles. You gotta put the liquid into squeeze bottles yourself
-
2021-03-18 at 2:27 PM UTCWhy they ban?

I had a Voopoo Drag Nano with a gene chip in it and it worked pretty well but there was zero way to adjust anything on it and the pods were only 1 ml. The sensor gave out after a while or else I would've kept using it.
I'm using a Novo 3 right now with mesh coils and it's been pretty good so far, think I paid less than $25 when I got it.
Tried the Nord 2 and was awesome at first then became a leaking mess which fucked up the sensor to the point it wouldn't even connect to the pod anymore. Also tended to roast and burn my juices in that one for some reason. -

Oh they are 100% involved in this through paying off lobbyist and shit. They also promote all the "vaping is for fags/kids" stuff and probably spread a lot of it with shill accounts/names.
I don't vape because I think it's hip or trendy, I vape because I enjoy nicotine but think tobacco is disgusting, and I like being able to use it in my car or home with zero smell or waste. I also pay $20 for a two week supply and I'd spend that in 2-3 days if I was using cigarettes. -

DOnt forget the "its dangerous, its poisonous, its totally not safer than smoking the ol fashioned way!" tripe you will keep seeing on random ads, articles and news pieces, its so fucking obvious who the assholes behind it are. they cant have you spending $20 in two weeks when you can spend the same amount in 2-3 days, greed 101.
the butthurt jedis are losing business. -
2021-03-18 at 3:38 PM UTCI love when things are illegal. I miss when I could sell weed

Yeah but they're lobbying for their own benefit. The tobacco companies are already knee deep in the vaping industry and getting into the marijuana industry. They're not dumb. They don't care about any certain product, and will just sell the people what they want. Just look at who owns Juul. They were pulling flavors before it was the law because that is the direction they wanted to turn public discourse towards. It's a lot better for them if vaping is heavily restricted. They know how to deal with restrictions and they have the ability to upscale production to meet national demand. If flavors are banned everywhere it is good for them because it means they can offer the cheapest nicotine with brand recognition that people will always turn to.
The tobacco industry is really heavily monopolized. When you go to the store you're only choosing from like 4 or 5 different cigarette corporations.
People think they're trying to get vapes banned, but they saw the way the tides would turn before any of us did. Honestly it's almost impressive how they made people think vaping nicotine is dangerous with literally zero fucking evidence. All the headlines are from black market carts, but it created this uncertainty in people which is beneficial to continuing to selling tobacco as they work over the next few decades to scale down and move their primary industry to vaping.
Every law lobbied for this is literally just to keep small business from stepping in. First they stopped shops from mixing their own. Now they're trying to control flavors. I would not be surprised if they started talking about hardware next. 18650 battery scare stories incoming. They'll just wait for an idiot to have it explode in his pocket, and have some battery expert come on, and pay a guy to talk about how bad his retard burns are, and then they'll be able to sell THEIR hardware for their proprietary, free-filled pods that DO NOT need a 'dangerous' 18650 battery. -

2021-03-30 at 4:52 PM UTCOfficial date is April 27th.
Many places shut down already.
It remains to be see if the market will actually pay attention to these regulations, or if we will have another CBD edible situation where regulations are written but not enforced.
Some state police have been raiding shops for delta-8 as well but no federal raids yet, thankfully.
The pandemic is coming to a slow so its time to start worrying about the kids and their new crazes again. -
2021-03-30 at 4:54 PM UTCVaping was legal when I was in charge.
We had the best vapes, the biggest clouds of vapor. -
