Originally posted by Kev that is not true, the inflated numbers the cold war propagandists use never add up. during the so called holdomor, the population never dropped in the census. youll find stalins most staunch defenders during that era and most recall it as a time of plenty.
lets remember the west was going thru a devastating great depression during that time where millions starved to death. the USSR was economically thriving at that time.
now do the difficult task of adding up all the deaths from all those puppet regimes the banking cabal installed worldwide, mostly in latin america. then add up all the deaths caused by sanctions, then add up all the people who died from unemployment, lack of health care, insufficient wages and you will get a number that dwarves nazi and soviet crimes, in the hundreds of millions. uncle sam invaded over 250 countries, vast majority of them unprovoked, USSR invaded none.
the reason i brought that up was to highlight just how ridiculous the cold war propaganda really was. during the soviet unions worst period, the propaganda was rather tame, it wasnt until decades later that this red scare bullshit went full throttle. why is that?
The winter war happened because the fins were collaborating with hitler, letting him use their country as a base to arm themselves to the teeth just miles away from leningrad, a big city. the soviets offered to buy finnish land to push the border further away from the city, the brazen cocksuckers refused. if amsterdam was 30 miles away from the russian border and they started pointing hundreds of artillery and rockets at it, what would the netherlands do?
and why should they have given back conquered territories after those same states just finished murdering 26 million soviet citizens? they deserved to get occupied. invade someone, get punished by losing territory. this is routine. it isnt like they were oppressed, poland and all the baltics had way higher living standards than the rest of the USSR for fucks sake.
what did syria do to uncle sam to get invaded and destroyed? what did iraq? what did yugoslavia? what did vietnam? why didnt your country have the fucking balls to say no to the iraq war like germany and france did?
There are a few quick points i want to make.
1. I am not defending America
2. You seem to be under the belief that if X is bad then what it's fighting is automatically good.
3. The census didn't show a decrease in population after the Holodomor because an authoritarian regime, get this, will lie in their documents if it fits their narrative. Shocker i know.
4. Economically it may have been going well in Russia, but the USSR wasn't just The Russian FSR, there were more than 15 Soviet Socialist Republics in the USSR as a whole.
5. The winter war started before Finland had a defense treaty with Nazi Germany.
6. Adding up the numbers from China, the USSR, Vietnam, Cambodia, North Korea etc, will total at about 100 million deaths by communism.
7. The lands Stalin kept weren't just lands belonging to countries sympathetic to Germany.
Last thing about The Fins and Soviets, the Soviets were trying to strong arm The Fins into giving up their sovereign territory. Also, Leningrad wasn't the capital of the USSR, Leningrad AKA Petrograd or St. Petersburg was the capital of The Russian Empire under the Czars. The Soviets moved the capital to Moscow after the October revolution in 1918. -

Any critique of any system in history cannot happen through these lenses. Not the collapse of the USSR, not the successes of China, not the power of America or it's failure to provide for the least wealthy members of its society.
It is just mental masturbation. You might as well be arguing Goku vs Superman: there's no fact of the matter because it is a category error, like there is no fact of the matter about whether or not Sherlock Holmes has a birthmark on the underside of his left testicle... It's a fictional character, such a mark was never mentioned so it was never confirmed or denied but that doesn't mean there actually is a fact of whether it exists or not. -

I think a lot of people are aware of 'pure communism being impossible' but aren't aware of the same for capitalism. In Smith's capitalism there is literally no inheritance. Imagine fathers not passing down money to their sons. That is pure capitalism. -
2021-03-17 at 5:43 PM UTCHow can a system be meritocratic with generational wealth? It can't: your cum ball has no more merit than any others. On what merit should they get the benefit of a privileged upbringing?
The answer is people don't actually like or want meritocracy. It's a cudgel to beat poor people with. -

Rich people like the idea of it, and they've fooled poor people into liking it too, because they've framed it as fair and just. Its to their benefit. It helps them eat french silk pie while everyone else fights for crumbs, and brags about earning a bigger crumb than the "lazy" people with smaller crumbs.
They're so stuck in the idea of this system that they don't even begin to question why it is that everyone is killing each other over crumbs.
It's such a bullshit and inhumane philosophy. Especially when there's more than enough french silk pie to go around.
I really want french silk pie -

you only think so because you, with your inferior rohingyan intellectual capacity, are unable to utilize these knowledges.
because knowledges, in the hand and heads of primitive apes are useless."They" haven't failed or succeeded. They never happened and they never will because either would be completely retarded in the context of the real world.

equating economic theories that have the potential to guide humanity into a better tommorow with fictional homosexual cartoon characters showed us just how ignorant of economics you are.
because the only economics that you get to immerse yourself in is class. -
