Anyway, I got a housing support place for natives to give me some "letters of intent" to get a landlord to sign off on and these guys will pay first and last months rent when I bring it back to them. Just need to get some welfare now, find an apartment with a landlord who will allow me in and i should be not homeless soonish.
After that I'll just live in ottawa i guess. muh new life or some shit, muh new beginning.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

2021-03-14 at 12:18 AM UTCI have secured a double cell, the last one was like 9x3, just enough for the bed to touch both walls on each side and a couple feet in front for ur stuff.
This one is just uhh double that one with a desk in it NIGGA! I grabbed a chair from the hallway and honestly.... it's a pretty nice setup.
So long as my shit doesn't get stolen I'll be fine here.
Glad I asked staff for an upgrade, shiiiit some of the cells are like a little bedroom lol. 12x12 at least. with a double bed. -

Residential Schools, The last one closed in '96 but no i was never in one. Basically they kidnapped a bunch of kids and forced them to attend and all kinds of fucked up abuse took place. I heard that one relative of mine said she liked going, wasn't tortured and was glad that she was taught to read so it's not all black and white. But when the government decided to inquire they were like "yo u get diddled by some preist? we got $80K if u got abused" Pretty sure most people would say whatever to get paid if they attended or not.
Honestly it probably went down that way cuz the government let churches handle the education aspect of the treaties, it's like all the pederasty in the Catholic church isn't just native kids getting it, it happened uhhhh wherever they set up.
Kids had a higher chance of dying in them than a canadian soldier in the first world war. Just genocide, u guys in europe know how it be. -
