   I voted 4 capitalisme cuz it's more nuanced. really capitalism is just a buzz word it's just economic orthodoxy which has a tendency to get skewed as fuck and then resets through violent revolution, or more likely a brutal suppression of the poors. Thankfully with advances in autonomous robots the revolution will be all but impossible as well as even opening the door to poor reduction strategies without seriously degrading available services. Obviously some will be kept, like pets because what good is power if you can't excercise it upon a mass of ignorant chattel.

    Nobody is discussing "cmunism vs capitalism" because it is a solved problem that the whole universe has moved past already: virtually everyone except shit like North Korea, has mixed economies and that's been the case for 100 years.
    
    So the answer to this thread is "Markets are good but need regulation, in modern post industrial societies there should be social safety nets to bolster a minimum standard of living and certain goods and services should be public goods."
    
    I.e. it's complicated. But the dichotomy as stared is simply completely unimportant.
