I love the egg boiler, the electric carving knife, the three prong plug, the sony walkman, the cassette tapes, the rolling pin, the reference to not being able to hang on to milkmen (the UK used to have serious problems with getting staff to fill all available jobs). It dates the piece so perfectly.
I also like the exploding milk bottles and the fake medi-evac helicopter.
