It has been 13 years since I was in school.

2021-03-09 at 3:22 PM UTCImagine how much time it felt like growing up from Kindergarten all the way to graduating high school.
Time has felt much faster these last 13 years compared to those 13 years in school.
This time 13 years ago I was so excited at the prospect of becoming an adult.
Knowing very soon I was to take off and go be something.
Had I known how these last 13 years were to turn out way back when I would probably have hung myself.
I am glad things finally got better but I did a lot of damage and for a long long time it all really sucked.
I wonder what life will be like in 13 more years.
My hopes are that in 13 more years I will find myself happy.
With a good paying job of sorts maybe even working from home.
I'd like to see myself in a sweet house with a stupid amount of toys.
Pretty much what I have know except on a grander scale with no debt. -

You´re now back to back with reflecting the first half. yes it seems much faster and it gets faster and faster as you move along. it has to do with percentages and get smaller.
or it might have to do with your metabolism slowing down. if the metabolism slows then time speeds up. because it has something to do with energy. if you are young you get a lot done in a short amount of time. It might not be considered efficient or productive to many but you did a lot of stuff. as you get older you slow down and so the time seem to move faster relative to the same amount of stuff you might have done in that same amount of time-span you did as a kid. -

Pretty much the best life advice for anyone.
Specially if you're living in America. Make steady money doing something you can tolerate every day, closely manage your finances, figure out what else you want to do, perhaps to make more money doing somthing you WANT to do. Bam, happiness solved. -
2021-03-09 at 6:43 PM UTCSave as much money as you can, buy 10acres of land, learn all the shit you can about homesteading, raising crops, tending feed animals, learn basic mechanical skills and build a water driven generator, get yourself a woman that wants to live the rural life herself (you're going to be stuck with an ugly so get used to it), have minimal contact with the outside world.
Happiness. -
2021-03-09 at 7:12 PM UTCHappiness is paying someone else to do all that shit so I can receive my animals and crops in edible form and my electricity reliably.
