I just got back from getting my first Covid shot. The shot itself was painless. I didn't even feel it. My arm is just a little bit sore now.
Because of our pig-farming Republican Governor, most of the sites to get a shot are rural and I had to drive 1 1/2 hours each way and spent $23 in gas doing it (full tank when left and filled when returned) and I'll have to do it all over again in a few weeks. For some reason this jackass Governor won't supply the vaccine where the population centers are in the state (St. Louis, Kansas City). I don't get his incompetence. My daughter's parents-in-law are having to travel 2 hours away to the center of the state on Saturday to get their shots.

I've been here almost all of my life except the short time I spent in the Marine hospital when I was born. 2 of my 3 kids are here. My home is paid for. I'll not be going anywhere.

Stl1 you probably have more chance of getting AIDS than Kung Flu in the rural areas.

Well. my arm is still sore this morning and I seemed a little out of it yesterday evening. There are reports of more side effects after the second shot.
Why is there a thing that appears to be the beginnings of a third small arm growing at the injection site?
