New Hard Minecraft Server, Extra Challenge - No Trees

    Server is vanilla survival, set in an endless desert. Difficulty is set to HARD.

    Tips:

    There are no naturally spawning trees in this world. Wood can still be found in some game-generated structures like abandoned mineshafts and pillager outposts. Sticks can be collected by breaking dead bushes. Weapons smith chests found in some villages have a 25.6% chance of containing some oak saplings. Wandering traders may sometimes sell saplings in exchange for emeralds - this is the only way to get any type of sapling besides oak.

    Besides rabbits, most animals will only be found rarely in some villages.

    Temples contain a TNT trap. The TNT from these traps can be helpful in the early game.

    Villagers will pay you emeralds in exchange for crops harvested from their own farms.

    Minecraft is so much better and more complex. It helps if you're creative and can apply that to buildings or machines.

    lately I've just been refining base designs for horde night, cranking up the number of zombies each time and building massive monoliths in between

    Out of curiosity, do you host your Minecraft server on a server you physically own? Rent? A VPS? Not gonna fuck with any of that, that'd be unnecessarily obnoxious bitch made behavior of the highest order. I am genuinely curious about the technical aspects of this.

    I used to run a custom WoW server but we used a certainsoftware in order to create a closed virtual private network, which acted more or less like a LAN, and you could connect to this as though it was a LAN party of sorts.

    it's a lot better than mojangs default hosting that won't even let you host a snapshot world.
