But yeh man, some dickhead bus wanking driver pulled into the fast lane of the motorway doing fucking 40 mph when I was tonning it down giving it beans, fucker nearly made me crash AND make me miss my turn off for work, the cheeky fucker.

no it isnt, holding grudges doesnt do anything to rectify the situation and only makes you more prone to acting out of anger
if i can sit down and have a good time eating and smoking cheech with my mom who lied, cheated and stole from my dad just to cover a crack habit and has neglected her job as a parent since i was born and has the gall to try and drop back in now that im an adult and feel no hard feelings, then you should be able to forgive a parent who acts out of selfish anger. i understand that getting physical with your children beyond giving them the belt when they get in trouble at school is inexcusable, but at the end of the day hes still your parent. my dad told me this one time and its stuck with me since: "you may not respect the person, but you have to respect the position."
