   INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - With no hint of a problem in advance, in particular no tell-tale smell of a gas leak, authorities and residents in a southern Indianapolis neighborhood are trying to make sense of an enormous blast that obliterated two homes and made dozens more uninhabitable.
   
   Fire officials expressed amazement that only two people died in the late Saturday explosion so powerful that the devastation spread for blocks from its epicenter. Hundreds of residents were forced to evacuate their Richmond Hill homes, some never to return. Windows and doors were blown in. The blast rocked several houses entirely from their foundations and was so loud it awoke people three miles away. A fire burned for hours, engulfing dozens of homes.

   ((UPDATE Monday, 11/12/2012: It appears that the authorities are currently unable to determine what caused this explosion. There were no reports of gas leaks and it looks as though natural gas is being ruled out. So I wasn’t being overly suspicious. They’re all working on finding the cause. Meth lab and bomb have also been ruled out.))

   I'm no expert here but i'm inclined to believe that the site would be abit more.. circular?
   This looks more like.. an ion cannon from the c&c games.
   
   Is this orbital cannon meant to be shooting laser beams, or what kinda ammo are we talking?
   I'm sure that if it was a laser cannon there'd be fire and scorch marks.
   
   I guess it could be gass, but an ion cannon is more awesome.

   You can't see lasers. The silent killer. They can melt you through the walls or point it at your gas lines to explode your house without any trace of a leak or ignition source.

    Yes... the "government" has the laser satellite. The US government is a very deceptive organization and should not under any circumstances be trusted. We must demand accountability for the US owned space laser.
