Well i was driving around after I pissed ff a friend cuz I laugh in the mornings n shit s he kicked me out, then the opp arund renfrew told me to come to the capital and find a shelter, ended up losing my vehicle downtown near a big spider cuz i don't know ottawa and was all drunk, smashed a windw and gt arrested and sent t the OCDC for 20 days. I'm now on probatin for 2 years and AND my ride was towed and sold too a scrap yard while I was in jail. With no recrds with cops or bylaw which was shady.
I'm now sleeping at a homeless shelter in downtwn ottawa, an old jail, ironically.

addendum: I banged some hoe i met in vanier when I was realeased and went broke son after, a crack dealer/madwoman i met in the same area also took my whisky and claimed everything is hers. she was cool.

im alright and pretty comfortable all things considered. losing my ride sucks but whatever, life goes on.
gotta see about getting moar handouts as uhhhh im a lazy fuck and can live with little and be satisfied.
wanna find that crazy drug sharing whisky steaqling lady but im pretty sure it would end with my arrest somehow or hilarity.

I was less than a mile from the border of BC but we had to turn back. it was cool though. I never been out of the USA but I been 1 mile from Canada and 1 Mile from Mexico (El Paso/Juarez)
Less than a mile from Mexico. like a couple blocks. You could see the adobe hutches.
saw some Mexicans trying to get water from a pond or apart of the Rio Grande or whatever it was. shit that was like 1982 or some shit

I saw the 2 World Trade Center buildings driving up from PA. we stayed in a town outside of Harrisburg for about 3 days.
Said "Oh Im coming back and see these up close". we had a pickup in a town called Fairfield in New Jersey. but never got to drive into the city.
then we went to Boston area. but a town called New Bedford. and RI and all over New England area. but then we had to go home. Never got back.
this makes me sad

this old jail is actually cool af for a shelter, i can come and go at all hours, do laundry whenever i want, free meals and decent wifi. filled with odd characters like myself as well.

They used to hang people there, in the old courtyard. They had this little window in the steeple and a platform that stuck out, and that's what they hanged you from.

Old jail, that was a hostel for a while then made into a shelter at some point, seems like a recent thing this place being a shelter, apparently my probation officer stayed here a long time ago, allegedly haunted cuz of the executions that had taken place, now a place for a few of ottawas downtrodden and those a drift to sleep. if they can behave just a bit, keep shit quiet and not be insane or too much trouble for the staff or other guests, but a good thing for us allowed in for sure.
I was more comfortable around vanier tho.... reminded me of home.
