i live in a democrat city and it's doing the exact same thing. we also have a huge federal government presence with about 6 military bases and a bunch of NSA and FBI facilities.

2021-02-17 at 8:25 PM UTCFor some reason my apartment has stayed warm this winter and I've yet to turn my heat on once even though the temps have been consistently -20 for the last few weeks.
Normally I utilize the heat at least occasionally during the winter but whatever. My only assumption is my downstairs neighbors place is a furnace and I'm getting enough residual heat to keep my place warm.
