On the report I saw, the road before and after the bridge (overpass) the wreck happened on was clear, given that and that they aren't used to that type of weather it's easy to see how that could happen

It is going to be below freezing let's just stay home. They treated the roads but I am wise and fearful therefore I will tell my boss I'm not coming in due to possibility of frozen pieces of water. Water is dangerous and I am responsible so if I have to drive it will be slower than everyone else. Because they are stupid and I am smart and legal. Everyone besides me drives wrongly

it was the ice. Did you see the car on the side of the road filming? The tires were going around and the car was barely moving, just kinda sliding around the ice.
Apparently it was a huge fuck up by the highway maintenance, they didn't expect the weather. We just got hit up here in Canada too and my buddy was telling me out west it's already cold as fuck, the polar vortex is making its way across our continent leaving a path of destruction behind it.
