that is not 100% accurate. there is more to the process than just dunking organic tissue in NaOH and thinking that the remnants are going to be forensically sterilized.
also, the bones will dissolve completely. everything within the human body short of medical implants that arent resistant will dissolve completely when the procedure is followed
im not saying what the procedure is but ive read about it within several different public-access news outlets that give enough details about it.

also, the NaOH was just one of many, many ingredients added to the water supply to make it potable. one thing they dont mention is part of the chemistry balance is intended to 'protect' the plumbing supply line. one more fun fact they dont mention is that they adjust the water chemistry to clean the plumbing lines to the point nasty sludge shit detaches from the pipes…flows through the lines…and comes out of peoples drinking taps.
