    "The lead up to Chinese New Year always sees brands within the sneaker space come through with commemorative creps, and adidas are seriously pushing the boundaries this year. A few weeks back, we got a look at their adidas shoes, which was inspired by the traditional Lion Dance, now they’ve just debuted a Forum Mid dubbed the ‘Communicator’, taking inspiration from the Chinese invention of printing.

    Back in October last year we shared a leak of a Nike collaboration with Japanese brand READYMADE on the nike stock, and it caused quite the stir because of the curious distorted build. After a few months of silence from the duo regarding the colab, a pre-release look has been provided and it’s the best glance we’ve had since the news first emerged!

    It’s been a little while since the last reebok shoes release, but this upcoming drop proves the GORP-friendly model is back with fire in its DMX Shear belly. This is thanks to faithful referencing of a mid-90s off-road predecessor: the Etna approach shoe.

    Thematically orbiting fighter jets and military tech, the asics shoes is composed in a stealthy, militant Blue Steel colourway. Bolstering the tongue with extra padding and technical notations, the upper level of the silhouette is intended to reflect the aesthetic of a cockpit. The laces are also modified, creating the impression of tightly packed military gear. Built with ballistic nylon and leather, the silhouette’s extensive notations (‘Hold On’, ‘Jet Fuel Only’, and ‘Secure Prior to Flight’) throughout extend the militant vernacular.
