So i can understand not having food but What's the deal with not being able to melt snow for drinking water? does it drain your electrolite ? like is snow like distilled water and has to drain into the ground to get minerals back in it before boiling and drinking again? -

Russia is able to sell at a much lower price because they're closer and they have pipeline infrastructure, whereas the US' only option is sea transit. I'll keep the rest of this short, but a large part of the reason for the US-backed insurrection and coup in the Ukraine was to disrupt the pipeline that carries Russian gas to Europe and make more-reliable US shipments seem more appealing. As a result Russia has been working on the offshore NORD STREAM pipelines to bypass the Ukraine and other US-friendly countries entirely, which has led to all sorts of attempts to block progress. Even the incidents with the Skripals and Navalny have been brought up in EU courts as a proposed basis to halt construction of that pipeline.
I dont get why US would want russia to cripple its most valuable colony? europe needs russia way more than they need her, they cant afford US gas, so what would she lose by starving them of this resource? many would quickly rescind their NATO membership and beg to join the eurasian union instead.
and didnt the coup in the ukraine happen because the deep state wanted to kick out the russian naval fleet from crimea and replace it with a NATO base? -

It never dropped into the negatives. I think it dropped to 15 dollars (USD) to the barrel. and so in a sense, you lost money somehow by processing it. It's weird how that logic applies but if the barrel is too low it will somehow effect the cost negatively.
its like saying if you got free barrels of oil how could you lose money, but it's the percentage split which wouldn't be cost efficient for all the people involved. -

the number ending on your plate decided whether you could buy gas that day. Especially those old gas guzzling cars from the 70s. 15 gallong tank with 8 miles to the gallon. you travel 150 miles a day out of your car working a sales person or whatever. gas was cheap, and you filled practically on a daily basis sometimes.
Hey what are fake plates all about. Borrowing your neighbors plates when they got home getting gas so you could and then pass them back and forth to go get fuel. Defeated the game. so they would have serious penalties
I think cops can tell if the plates belong to your type of vehicle by the letters or number pattern?
this may never happen again for us. if cars are forced to go full electric. but lets be real. the 2035 mandate in California is a fucking joke. 14 years to remove all new Gas cars from lots. what about slightly used newer used cars?

Gas is something they need, at least for now - Russian gas deliveries to the EU are actually overstated in the media, Germany is the main one that resells to other EU states and they only get about 40% of their gas from Russia. Regardless, if Russia were to cut off gas supplies to the EU, Germany would pay the premium to get US gas before making major political concessions like that. Keep in mind that Germany has been an occupied country since the end of WWII; Rammstein airbase isn't just there for convenience.

There were a lot of reasons for the Ukraine coup, the pipelines and Sevastopol (guaranteed control and power projection over the Black Sea) were two big ones but other things like disrupting the NATO-WARSAW PACT paradigm, being able to deploy TBMs and ABMs closer to the Russian boarder etc. were all part of itThe following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -
