Might have to look into this. There's a shitload of games for the original PlayStation I want, but are too expensive or too difficult to find at a reasonable price + in good condition. I guess one would have to have a modchipped console too.

It's kinda buggy with a ton of annoying ad popups, but it's worth it. They're all there.

Gonna have to do a bit of browsing and maybe look into making backups (which I have no idea how to do properly)

I sure as fuck wish game companies were still pressing copies of games like Suikoden 2, Vagrant Story, Tales of Destiny, etc.

I was at the local used game store earlier today and they wanted $30 for Breath of Fire III, $35 for Dragon Warrior VII, etc. Too much in my opinion.

I get most of my vintage games from GoG or that MS-DOS game archive.

Get Alcohol 120% or Daemon Tools Lite. They're easy to use to burn stuff. You just mount the .iso, .bin or .cue file, then burn to a disk.

PowerISO works too, I actually prefer it over daemon lite

Thanks. Now off to eBay to look for a modchipped PS1.

If you want the console experience for old games I recommend getting a Pi 3 B+ or any Pi 4. Pretty much anyone can follow directions and get an emulator thing set up and you can do it for 100-150 easily. Or cheaper if you really want.

Yeah.. that lets you play significantly newer games. You can run a ps2 or wii emulator on them now. Original Pi was weak as fuck just like your stepped down game haha

    Faggots

Just go to half price books and buy the games.
You'll get a nice physical copy to proudly display on a shelf.
