I just hope CDPR isn't too big for their britches and that they do what they have to do. CDPR is a weird case because they're like semi-indie, half-way through their metamorphosis into a AAA studio. The Witcher 3's unprecedented success was... unprecedented. Gamers are used to eating bowls of shit with a grin on their faces so it's really just a matter of whether CDPR still has a bit of the indie spirit left in them, or if they're content with watching gamers eat the bowl of shit they made.
No Man's Sky was a disaster, but Hello Games knew their only chance was to shut up and buckle down and fix their shit. Bigger developers are prone to just giving up on supporting their games because they can't justify that kind of time/money investment on a product the proles have already paid for. CDPR still talks a good game about their commitment to DRM free gaming and stuff which gives me hope that they still have the soul required to make the game good for the game's sake, but I wish there was more of a guarantee.
Also: they shouldn't have released this shit on console. That's where like 90% of the bad press seems to be coming from.
I read a very racist article recently that talked about how while Ashkenazi j'ews tend to score very highly on the verbal parts of intelligence tests, they also score very poorly on the spatial awareness parts. The article went on to suppose that this left many of them with a distorted perception leading to the bizarre proportions they often use when drawing characters in the cartoons that have become popular these last few years:
