When the hospitals are attributing deaths from pneumonia, heart attacks, disease, etc. to Covid-19 there is reason to believe the government is not being entirely forthcoming about the threat posed by the Coronavirus. This is literally how all disease deaths are counted all over the world. Where were you when they were doing the same shit for the flu? It's called a secondary cause of death.
Never mind the mortality rate, have you read about how damn destructive this disease is? How infectious? I'm not worried about dying, personally. Also percentage vaccinated isn't really a good indicator of how well they're doing with vaccination. North Carolina has vaccinated more people than any other state, but how many of those people have jobs where being vaccinated will really help? It's more important that essential workers get the vaccines. We've seen this before with other outbreaks. Freely giving out the vaccine isn't the way to go, but it does make for good headlines. -
