Pretty much what it seems to amount to. Like there are theists out there that think atheists are just immoral, because someone couldn't POSSIBLY have a sense of morality without someone else telling them what to do.
Religion is going to be erased as humanity becomes more and more educated. -
2021-01-22 at 4:49 PM UTCpeople don't know better and it provides comfort.

I mean the crux of the behavior is that humans have a tendency to find patterns where there are none. With our tribal and social nature, this quickly evolves into all sorts of groups.
Religion will be abolished once more people are like "Hey, there's no proof for God." But they'll just find new things to believe in instead. It's hard to fathom what they are but I think a lot of sci-fi/fantasy stuff does a good job exploring that. Take a look at Outer Worlds and the corporate based pseudo religions they've got. A lot room for people to misinterpret science as well. Look at all the people who say vaccines cause autism without any real study proving it. People don't need a deity to believe in bullshit.
The only solution to combat this is education. We need to teach kids how to think critically and problem solve on their own. The number of kids being taught this has increased in modern history and will keep increasing until hopefully we've got a Star Trek like situation where the majority of society is full of logical thinkers and educated professionals. I'm sure it'll be a lot more messy for us than it was in Star Trek though. Probably way less cool. -
2021-01-22 at 6:35 PM UTCOkay retard nice poll. I have never seen someone that is a faggot leftist makes polls with one option before hurr durr
you need to stop microdosing and take a real dose of psychedelics, you are as far from God as a person could possibly be. -

I took a full psilocin trip earlier this week and decided I get to the same place on a microdose, without feeling like the universe is crumbling around me.
don't really give a shit about God. He's not real. -
2021-01-22 at 6:40 PM UTCOkay pussy who is too afraid for a real dose because when God talks to you you are gonna shit your pants. You can't handle real reality, that's why you feel like the universe is crumbling.
I can take very large doses and see the blessings of the creator and things like that stay with you for life. I know a lot of people who would agree with me too. You are in the small scared minority. I almost feel bad for you -

“If you get the message, hang up the phone. For psychedelic drugs are simply instruments, like microscopes, telescopes, and telephones. The biologist does not sit with eye permanently glued to the microscope, he goes away and works on what he has seen.” -Alan Watts.
I've already been there man. Seen the feline cat goddess on DMT. I've gone psychotic on lysergamides. I've seen the whole spectrum of psychedelics. To explore that space further would just be hedonistic. I know you're just trolling but eventually you gotta grow up and realize that high dose psychedelic trips are non-sustainable. I'm trying to explore, not re-visit places I've already been.
The last thing I'd want is to take your advice and end up like you. -

well currently it just produced an army of neckbeard incels who put the cunt on the pedestal instead of a deity, invented tranny children and 100 genders. this is the mark of thinking critically?People don't need a deity to believe in bullshit.
exactly, from what i see people believe in MORE BULLSHIT today than ever before. replace blaming demons with blaming invisible russian hackers for everything, replace sin with political correctness and replace the apocalypse with climate change.
religion kept civilization together for millenia, postmodernism ruined it in 3 generations. whats critical about any of this? -

2021-01-22 at 6:59 PM UTCYou are living in a different reality. I'm sure it's easy to frame other groups in the light you've been shown, but it isn't reflective of reality.
