3D Printers Cause Cancer
-
2021-01-13 at 4:42 AM UTCTurns out they do not actually print the same kind of polymer that the government has mandates that big corporations use to keep citizens safe.
Because you are buying a raw ingredient in a cooled form it is safe with no hazard but once you go melting it down it is a different story.
In order for 3D printers to work accurately and smoothly they use a polymer infused with a special wax like material that is not specified but new studies have found they emit a colorless, odorless vapor when heated.
This vapor is chemically very similar to many toxins known to cause cancers and difficulty of the brain.

2021-01-13 at 4:19 PM UTCIm not impressed. It sounds neat but it is just a plastic glob.

I have just bought one. it's Resin though. it's a trip. the thing moves up and down on a bolt drive system and there is a vat reservior and the plate dips into the vat and below that is a UV curing light. so every time the fat moves down the curing light moves x and y axis and curse the resin one layer at a time. it sticks to the 3D plate that you have to use a Spackle knife to break the 3D piece off from.
It says "uses natural ingredient" and I saw one for sale that says it uses food base plastic resins. but that one got shit reviews saying it didn't harden 100 percent when cured. and it was messy.
this one I used last night I got on my hand. it's like trying to wash grease off of your hands. So I use a mask, gloves and I run a fan towards the printer which sits in front of a window. The nice thing about it is it doesn't have to be hooked up to your computer. it has a LED computer processor and monitor screen (like 2 inch display) and processes it off of a thumb drive you insert. Mine didn't work the second time off of the sample 3D Object. but there was a smaller one and I printed that and it worked. but I do in fact need a washer. so the object will get dipped into either a soapy or alcohol solution and have a secondary curing from the bath wash. -
2021-01-15 at 10:36 PM UTCWell lads, enjoy disovering how your wee eel becomes droopier and droopier as you learn more about plastics. Feel free to hit up the loca pharmacy for cialis and viagra. Turns out hot plastic and male hormones don't get along!
And you'll be gagging for the cock like belle delphine by the time your exposure to industrial plastics is done, you little tease! -
