according to reports the DOD (thats the department in charge of the military) refused to deploy any uniformed military for the initial jan 6th protest because of posse comitatus conflicts. it seems they have no objection to that now. like magic.
the troops there are from multiple states, from what ive read… the majority from republican states.
last i heard they were packing 20,000 military into DC. not suspicious at all.
with 20,000 troops someone could literally invade an entire country.
There was a concern about the optics of having uniformed military personnel inside the Capital pre Jan. 6th. After citizens start forcing their way into the chambers, they're not concerned anymore.
