"Back at it again, the pair have decided to go for the new balance 574 sport. They’ve worked on it before, plastering the chunky boy in a hiking aesthetic and a very tasteful lighter grey. Sitting under the eYe Comme des Garçons Junya Watanabe MAN banner, the NB574 has been decked out in a full-blown black-on-black patent leather look. Contrast arrives via the white tongue branding and insole detail. Watanabe has also debossed eYe onto the heel.

Menswear minimalist Junya Watanabe, of Comme des Garçons, has enjoyed a longstanding partnership with new balance damen, the duo combining for such models as the NB1500, the Comp 100, and even the NB990v5. He’s always taken a very reserved approach, sometimes leaving the shoe in a singular hue without changing any structural elements at all.

The new balance herren made its debut last year through an ultra-tasteful collaboration with New York brand Aimé Leon Dore, whose founder Teddy Santis dug through the NB archives and pulled out the silhouette that originally hit shelves way back in 1989. With little to no information on the shoe, they had to build it from scratch, and it was well worth it because the 550 quickly became one of the defining shoes of 2020.

The new balance 530 weiß is a sleeper silhouette in the lively New Balance catalogue, and that’s just how we like it.It has a clean construction, lends itself perfectly to detail-driven designs and provides that classic comfort you want from a lifestyle sneaker. This round brings a clean ‘Tan’ version with a generous peppering of perforation and a fuss-free white midsole. But if you thought this was a plain colourway, think again: a burning red outsole lifts them up with just the right amount of colour."
