2021-01-15 at 6:31 AM UTCIf I wake up early & fall back into "sleep" I experience lucid dreams that I feel like I create by thoughts laying sleepily & I'm able to navigate. I always wake up like a battery being charged, starting at my head, going down my body. I always remember pieces of "dreams" sometimes they are good, & I want to go back to sleep forever, & sometimes they are terrifying & I wake up scared.

Mostly true for me as well. Although i get the odd sprinkling of absurdist unreality in there. And if it's a good night i dream of cute girls.
Speaking of cute girls. I was walking down the isles, doing some grocery shopping for dinner the other day, and there was this teen girl standing there looking like she walked out of Life is Strange or some shit. With the complete get up, AllStars, tight blue jeans, and a canvas jacket. She was looking at some key chain stuffed animals, probably to hang off her bag. You know, as you do when you're a 15yo 'non-conformist'.
She was very pretty. Fair skinned with medium long black hair, in a sloppy pony tail. But as i was looking at her, i couldn't help but feel she was lost somehow. She didn't look sad per se, but she had a quality about her, like the ennui of life had gotten to her and she was kind of tired of it all. Even though she was so young. I pitied her in that moment, i felt like striking up a conversation. Not just because she was cute, but so that i could know what was going on in that little head of hers. But i decided to spare her the trouble.
Teenagers man... -

i never dream of cuties maybe once a year. i tried all sorts of lucid dreaming drugs but they only make my nightmares worse.
i went thru a mid-life crisis at 15 so i know how she feels, its a fuckin roller coaster but mostly because at that age youre surrounded by corrupted, disillusioned adults who unfortunately make the rules and have dominion over your life.
are you able to get your PTSD under control? -

I know how she feels too. If i'm honest i guess part of the attraction was a misguided notion of me being able to help her somehow. Maybe that notion wasn't misguided, i don't know. But i mostly remember my teenage years as fun, even though there was some drama that seemed super important at the time. But that's life i guess. Also i don't think i have nightmares because of PTSD, i don't have PTSD as far as i know and am familiar with the causes and symptoms. I do have Borderline and i get dark moods, like real dark. I am sure it's a contributing factor. -

i never understood BPD, care to elaborate?
your misguidance is feeling you should approach minors at all, stranger danger and all. never go near runaway or lost kids, you gain nothing and risk losing everything. -

Did she put up much of a struggle? -
2021-01-18 at 3:02 AM UTCIt's weird because I rarely ever "dream hard" anymore but I almost never really sleep, I will have dreams that are near lucid, they could be totally mundane things or something off the wall shit but I will definitely be aware that I'm dreaming, It's been a thing for me the last year.
But some of the more mundane dreams are the stranger ones in a way because its so realistic like its some I really might have done on a day to day basis maybe multiple times a day but I will wake up knowing I didn't just do that. -
