they're going hard on marking anyone who supported Trump as some kind of criminal, even going so far as putting donors and people who attended rallies on lists, which is exactly how 'revolutionary' purges start. -

Jedis are motivated by ethnic hate and don't always think through the consequences of their actions.
The smarter players are noting that they need some sort of pied piper to keep that half of the population under control, for instance Biden noted that he wants a "strong republican party".
I don't know if those incited by hysterical rhetoric are that logical. Perhaps it causes some sort of awakening to the ruling classes/ethnicities, similar to how various other peoples grew fed up in the past.
Also since the maga people are of a certain social and cognitive strata, it hopefully awakens class consciousness among them, though that might be wishful thinking.
I think that magaism is ultimately a reaction to declining living standards and ethnic anxieties caused by mass immigration, and neither of those trends are going away any time soon. -
