2021-01-12 at 1:26 AM UTCyeah I read an interesting story that the guys who stole Nancy's laptop (and maybe AOC's shoes lol) were not with the protest proper and appeared to be trained; ie. moving in formation and keeping close communication with each other

You have a point. I dont like that dude but you have a point.
He can just say that he was studying human behavior over there. I think the media just sticks different highlighted characters in a bag and mix and see's what comes out. . people like Political Famous or like Hollywood famous and then see what kind of taylored story can come out of it. "Well it has an essence of facts.. I mean he is in the Army" -

I don't have a problem with people disagreeing with me, but what you're posting isn't even an argument. people like you and Technologist (who is at least willing to discuss the point) refuse to even think about things that aren't fed to you by mainstream propaganda apparatus.
I didn't say I necessarily believed the story, just that it was interesting. Why would you think it's outlandish to believe that someone slipped into the protest with the intent to steal information from the Speaker of the House? is it that much harder to believe than someone just taking it for lulz? -

Man I was just talking to you about why it's not a big deal that Trump was kicked off social media last night. You may not have liked what I was saying but I adressed it.
You think I'm dumb for believing Russia would prefer a Trump administration that could possibly remove Obama administration sanctions, and if I remember correctly your reasoning was "because the sanctions were illegitimate" even though that doesn't address the fact that it's reasonable to believe Russia would prefer that to happen.
Your stance on that is that I'm brainwashed by MSM even though it's perfectly logical.
I guess it's interesting to think that there might have been some sort of coordinated plan by the protesters once inside the Capital, I just don't believe there was. Not by Trump. Not by the protesters. Their sole intent was to disrupt the process of Congress acknowledging the electoral votes.
Now if you want to talk about a group or faction other than the average Trump supporter that was interested in gaining information that Pelosi might have, I think there's ways to obtain that information that would be easier and less obvious than having a few plants inside the crowd on the 6th. -

No, I think it's dumb to hold on to the idea that Russia somehow hacked the 2016 elections in Trump's favour considering there's never been any evidence provided. A multimillion dollar inquiry turned up nothing. Trump slapped more sanctions on Russia than any previous president and people like you still bang on about how he's 'Putin's puppet'.
True, in terms of foreign policy they probably preferred him over Hillary but that's neither here nor there - it says nothing about whether they took action. For a long time Russia has considered the US to be 'недоговороспособны', 'non-agreement capable' so they've not based their policies on an expectation of US co-operation at all.

There's literally no evidence to the above other than the CIA's 'very likely', and considering how often they've lied to both foreign and domestic audiences it's insane to consider it 'logical' to believe them.

I'm just saying it's possible they saw an opportunity and took it, that data's probably worth a lot to someone -

Lol I've never claimed that Russia hacked the election. They clearly did engage in a social media misinformation campaign with intent to destabilize America and the election process. That's something that America does to them as well. The point of the investigation was to make the population aware and to see if there was any coordinating between Russia and the Trump campaign. They weren't able to find any evidence that could result in punishment for Trump, but that didn't mean Russia didn't get involved.
You just said that Russia has labeled America "non-agreement capable" yet don't see why they'd actively work to influence voters to vote for an incoming administration that was listing the removal of sanctions on the RNC platform lol -

the only evidence I've ever seen presented was around $2000 in facebook ads, mostly bought by some catering company, and it was only proven that they were ordered from a Russian-registered IP, not that the buyer was actually Russian let alone connected to the Russian government. feel free to show me anything else.

That's just it, if you've actually listened to (er, read) any of Putin or Lavrov's speeches on the matter, they were in no way confident that the platform meant anything. Even if the Rs had planned to remove sanctions they knew it would likely never happen, especially given the narrative surrounding the Ukraine issue. Regardless of who won it was unlikely relations would change, and in large part due to the Russiagate thing (ie. Trump had to go hard to prove he was hostile to Russian interests) they were right.
Have a look at what they've had to say about the START and other missile treaties up for renewal; they're going through the motions but obviously don't expect an agreement. -

https://twitter.com/CBS_Herridge/status/1349514123986526210#CapitolRiot SCOOP: A law enforcement official confirms
@CBSNews
the identification of individuals using military or “small unit tactics” is among the "highest priorities" for DC US Attorney's Sedition Task Force. Video footage + eyewitness accounts of the apparent use of these tactics (trained to military + law enforcement) drew immediate scrutiny from investigators. CBS News has learned these tactics were witnessed both OUTSIDE + INSIDE the Capitol Building. NOTE: These tactics are commonly used in hostile, unknown environments to clear rooms + reach mission objectives. They can include hand signals or physical contact, to unify the group + communicate directions. These are TRAINED behaviors (my emphasis)
