52% of the country thinks the 2020 election was stolen from Trump through election fraud. No matter what the naysayers say, no matter how hard they spin, that ain't going away.

Oh now you believe poll numbers huh? Lolz

Well I've seen polls that say well over 60% trust the results.

What is funny with all the talks about hyper partisanship is that you don't realize that the only reason so many people are willing to say they don't believe election results is simply because "their guy" didn't win, whether it's Trump or Bernard.

That's ok. Biden won. Anyone that doesn't like that can obey the law and fall in line, greybro. That's how it works.

When Gab gets shutdown I'll move somewhere else. There will always be somewhere else.

Gab has immunized themselves better than most, but Amazon cut off Parler today. I admit I ain't really got a clue about "how this shit works", but maybe you can explain why you feel the way you do? I mean you seem to recognize the inevitability of Gab being shutdown, and to remain operational for as long as they have they had to do all this shit:

Hell, even Gab themselves recognize the extent to what I'm saying is true:

Tongue definitely meets cheek somewhere around the last line, if not exactly there, but the point remains that I'm not just being a doomer about this. I may have indulged in a bit of hyperbole, but less than you're implying. 🤷‍♀️

I read a lot on the culture during WW1 and I view the current manias and hysterias as very similar to that.

For instance continuing the war, which was pointless, is a moral imperative. Same thing as continuing the lockdowns. The struggle takes on a religious aspect. Sacrifice for the sake of sacrifice, with the useless struggle taking on the character of a malevolent god that needs to be appeased.

Propaganda is everywhere, and no one really believes it. For instance look at the scummy people who spent the last few years whinging about everytime some black got shot and supporting the destruction, mayhem and death associated with BLM suddenly having a problem with the occupation of the US Parliament by genuinely peaceful protestors. It's the same as WW1, as there is a desire for a war, people have chosen to take sides, people aren't interested in getting along people are bloodthirsty and feel vicious.

And just like in WW1 it's the woke anglo lefties who are the biggest cheerleaders of the pain - people forget that the biggest cheerleaders of WW1 weren't the army, it was the suffragettes, who started the white feather movement. Absolute scum.

I think things are getting better though. Most people are ignoring the lockdowns or doing the bare minimum. Most of the world has no real lockdown, it is a phenomenon associated with the anglosphere and west europe. I was in Ukraine recently, it was fucking heaven going about life like normal. Never got the coof. I hear from India - Corona has more or less fizzled out there, it's just regarded a flu, most people had it.

Unnecessary wars and struggles against the tide, manically piling up sand on the beach, as if it matters. It's the damage done by a malevolent minority among us that is so galling.

Half the country thinks the 2020 election was rigged. That can't be good at all, Larry.

Stop deluding yourself into thinking if only we pass this law, or elect this person, things can get back on track.

Our governments are fucked beyond repair. There's no mending them. They're a write off. They need to be sent to the scrap heap and a new one installed in their place.

    2. Democratically elected Leaders have very little actual power

If the last 4 years has taught us anything it's that elected leaders have surprisingly little power when compared to the huge number of unelected civil servants, NGOs, big tech companies, universities, and media outlets. Focusing your energy the small fraction of power a leader has when the rest of it will never change hands through an election is a waste of time.

If you don't believe me, then consider this - the vast majority of world leaders congratulated Biden not when the US Government called the election, but when the Media called the election.

    3. It's a waste of time to organize on platforms built by your enemies

Being right wing on twitter or facebook or youtube is beyond fucking retarded. They can and will de-platform when and if they please.

There are so many alternatives to "big tech" out there, and quite frankly I'm tired of hearing excuses for not using them. It's never been easier to have an independent presence on the internet than it has been in 2021.

    4. Don't bother 'reaching across the aisle' to anyone on the left

These people hate you far more than you hate them. They want you to either convert or die, and your way of life to evaporate. There's no compromise, except a 'compromise' in their favour. Don't debate. Don't 'play fair'. Your goal is to do what they've been doing for hundreds of years - it's to seize power and win.

Wow, seems like something a really bitter person would write.

Stop using facebook, twitter, and youtube.

Stop believing in "free and fair democratic elections" or Presidents.

The first step is to build enough critical mass for some kind of core, and you're never going to do it on fucking twitter.

I do do that with regard to fecesbook, twatter and jeutube but the problem is that they monopolize the majority of social media use. if you build an alternative, you will immediately get shut down because they monopolize the hosting providers as well. after the daily stormer censorship precedent, we have seen the registrar can deny domain registrations purely for political reasons.

they control the conversation, the only way to build an alternative now is to seek hosting in countries like china and russia which the US government has no dominion over. but even if you do that, you will not have a voice because they dominate the conversation so you will always be a fringe group with no reach much like NIS is right now.

i dont mean to be negative but i see no way to win the propaganda war when the enemy controls the propaganda apparatus.

Gabs response is a huge positive step, because they have done so much and shown you can just build your own shit.

You also need to keep things in perspective. A few private companies, like AWS, Twitter and Facebook have denied people service.

The great thing about private corporation censorship compared with government censorship is that you can just side step it. The internet would be a better place without those companies, anyway.

TL;DR - None of the attempts to silence people have really worked. Alternatives exist, and it's up to us to use them. If the Eastern Bloc couldn't stop the spread of dissent pre-internet, there's no way the western world can in 2021.
