Taco Bell will be Replacing Potatoes with Plant Based Meat Made from Oatmeal
-
2021-01-09 at 1:58 AM UTCFolks, Taco Bell has seriously gone down the shitter. Late last year, they cut down their menu and removed many fan favorites such as the one dollar mini quesadilla, triple layer nachos, and Fritos burrito, among other popular items. Now, word from the UK is that Taco Bell will be replacing the potatoes in items such as the potato soft taco and cheesy fiesta bowl with a trendy oat-based meat substitute.
What are they thinking? The Impossible Meat trend is already on the way out since people are now realizing that it tastes like shit. Fucking with your menu and removing or altering the old-school favorites has never been a recipe for success in the restaurant biz. Are they trying to go bankrupt?

There really isn't another chain that is quite like Taco Bell (Mexican) that's as widespread and well know.
With no competition they can sell carrot stuffed burritos and people will still go because they want a burrito. -

Good point. I wish Del Taco had more restaurants. Del Taco is leagues above Taco Smell. -
