2021-01-07 at 4:15 PM UTCThis is just the calm before the Storm. The next couple of weeks are going to be explosive. Once the smoke clears, Trump will remain in office.

My boss and I were just talking about this, what happened (the violence) yesterday was about someone losing an election. What happened in the summer (the violence) was about several black people losing their life at the hands of law enforcement. Both have the right to protest, but neither had the right to get violent. With that said the most ridiculous thing about both incidents is the hypocrisy displayed by both the right and left when each incident happened -

2021-01-07 at 7:54 PM UTCHi Star Trek! Did you miss this part?
"Both have the right to protest, but neither had the right to get violent"
The point in my post was the violence on both sides was wrong and the hypocrisy by both sides is wrong. As far as deaths, the lady who was shot yesterday, had it not been for storming the Capital and the violence that went along with it, she would be alive today, so I'd say her death was caused by her actions and the actions of the "magapedes" -

2021-01-07 at 8:31 PM UTCYes, it's horrible, she was climbing through the window when the shot was fired. Quote from a Republican Representative Mullin from OK who had planned on protesting the vote:
"When they broke the glass in the back, the [police] lieutenant that was there, him and I already had multiple conversations prior to this, and he didn't have a choice at that time," Mullin told ABC News' George Stephanapoulos on "Good Morning America" Thursday.
"The mob was going to come through the door, there was a lot of members and staff that were in danger at the time. And when he [drew] his weapon, that's a decision that's very hard for anyone to make, and, once you draw your weapon like that, you have to defend yourself with deadly force."
Mullin said police "showed a lot of restraint" and "did the best they could." but people inside the room said the police had no choice -

Can you actually watch this video, and still believe that nonsense you posted? -
2021-01-07 at 8:52 PM UTCThat one also shows she is climbing through one of the broken-out windows to try to get into the house but from a different angle, she in the middle of climbing through. This one shows the same thing.

I think any loss of life either during the BLM protest or the election protests are awful, but the officer in the video believed the house members, staff would be in danger if he did not shoot.
