Yeah, this was one of the first things I thought of when I saw the name of this place. this movie is a cult classic from the early 90s. but I really thought I saw this with my brother who he and I would watch shit from people like Mike and George Kuchar from the 60s. I thought this was mid 1980s for some reason. I wasn't getting along with my brother but he was chillin it at my Moms house and I think I saw it over there with him.
I only saw the last 20 minutes of it. so it's only 30 minutes long. Would be good to watch with my girlfriend. She's the only cult film person like myself to watch something like this and laugh. especially at the scenes meant to be serious.
Sins of the Fleshapoids by Mike Kuchar has his brother George in it. I hate having to look this shit up. I used to watch all these fucking type of movies on PBS or some art channel in the 80s on cable. I wish I had my old vhs collection. I even had some old betamax shit from the early 80s because my moms boyfriend at the time had a player they borrowed off some guy and we bought some old tapes. a friend of mine sold me his player later on so I could transfer to digital. (which is legal for 1 copy if you own or purchased the tape)
this kind of stuff was mostly for fun and art and not trying to be the next big Fog City Maverick or Scorsese type. But Scorsese started off this way too.
