Coding is hard to concentrate on.

The only motivating force for me is money.
I find it overly boring and overly complicated.
It would make an awful sport to watch on television.
Im going to keep at it.
Tomorrow my goal is to code something.
    Wish me luck.

When I was 13 I tried learning vb6 so I could build booters for Yahoo messenger.

    Eh
I plan on getting back into programming eventually to pick off where I started but I don't really see the use for it rather than very niche things I want but other people can't provide.

What I really would love to be capable of is programming PLUS 3d modeling then I would spend all my life building things for VR.
I just think drawing would be incredibly difficult and especially 3D modeling but tbh I haven't really tried.

python/django/etc? it's a complicated place to start; most of the code won't make any sense to you because you're not familiar with how the underlying structures work (stuff like databases, network traffic, http requests etc.).

you're much better off just doing some tutorials to get started

If i had to start learning how to code all over again and i wanted to begin with web development for some reason i would probably go with Next.JS, Vercel, and NodeJS based solutions in general.

Being just in it for the money is a sure fire way to get stuck in a job that will suck the life out of you by the way. Also, maybe you'd enjoy coding a bit more if you were making something other than a website.

Even if you kick ass at Python and Django coding something like NIS is going to be a lot of work.

Yeah man I have had the same problem with motivation to play skyblock. You have probably seen me on Bill Krozby.dogs lately and well it's because I have been avoiding the skyblock grind.

It's a thing that can take up a lot of time for very little reward. Sure you could do it for an hour a day but I do it for maybe a few minutes and get bored because I don't get that instant hit of dopamine rush that I used to get before when it was new and I didn't know what to expect.

The secret trick is just literally fucking doing meth to force your brain to enjoy whatever you're doing, work, video game grinding, learning and studying. I feel like the drug was meant for this, obviously it's not a very efficient way to concentrate and you will likely get distracted doing something retarded but just imagine the possible potential of coding you could learn with well timed and responsible amphetamine use.

I think if you did it right you could quit your job and be making da big bux in a firm by the end of the year. Without drugs though that would probably take a few years.

Very true. Maybe try writing a small script for your OS.

I've always like the challenge of it. It's like those formulas in algebra that once I got down, I loved solving.

Yeah and even if it's not something like algebra. it's best to do a project that challenges you in a fun and stimulating manner. Something just above your skill level that you get to solve. Don't start an extremely complex project that will just frustrate you until you give up. Learn gradually, keep the challenge hard but doable and you will enjoy the creative and problem solving process.

i havn't tried toying with Python except one full day. I made something like Snake (the old flip phone game from early 2k)

it made it move but at first it occupies a space without exploding. then it teaches you how it blocks each other to move

i forgot what the hell Im saying. i have a visual memory. just slight. something like that. there is a name for when objects have to stop when they hit another 3D object (or 2D scroll type)

It's a category of careers reserved for higher IQ people. Whether you use your skills within or outside of the law. It requires at the very least solid problem solving skills, and it pays well, whether you are self-employed or work for a small or big company.

What line of work are you in?
