They should have made walled communities way back in March. You just put all the people who have the Corona into the walled community and allow them to open shops and stores and carry on as usual, with open schools and government buildings. All the kids in the schools and all the people in the walled village would be infected with Corona - there would be no healthy people in them. Same idea as the leper communities. The lepers created their own walled communities and carried on as a normal society. They didn't let leprosy get them down or destroy their economy, they just adapted and were creative in their solution.

People used to regularly wander accidentally into a leper community. Then they'd have to stay forever.
