it's not even that complicated.
if you have control of a country's media, you essentially have free reign over their state policy and elections. that's the conclusion the CIA came to 70 years ago and is the basis for almost all of the colour revolutions and regime-change operations since then.
people in the west, the US specifically, just can't seem to get their heads around the fact that it works on them just as well as it works on brown people on the other side of the world

No, they actually have armies of paid shills they employ to infest discussion platforms. The dead giveaway is how rabid they come across. No normal person is going to be that rabid, only a paid shill. They have what's referred to as "troll farms", where they train these idiots how to go about influencing directions in conversations, where to go to influence debate, and what target platforms to gather upon, among other specific instructions, such as learning how to abuse the flagging features en mass to cause bans and deletions of content automatically. It's all part of the treasonous efforts of the New World Order and their paid off globalist/leftist/communist lapdogs in the Democrat party and elsewhere. Should be plain as day for anyone to see for themselves, at this point.
