It's not a stimulus package its a relief package. Some people are suffering. My friend works at a bar and has been out of work for weeks, he's even more poor than me because he's unlucky and he couldn't get a new job that easily.
My moms friends son died from "covid" because he had to go to work.

Not all americans are fat and lazy but if this scampenic is really real a bunch of people really need it, everything got really fucked up recently and people are pissed and I don't condone the riot at the capital.

2021-01-13 at 3:43 PM UTCI'll probably surprise everyone here, but...I don't agree with everyone getting a $2000 check...or even a $600 check. Any money dispersed should be on a needs basis. There are plenty of people who are actually doing fine through this pandemic while others have been devastated financially. Hell, some are even thriving. Why should our descendants be saddled with debt given to those not needing it? Besides, not giving money to those not needing it should result in being able to give even more to those actually in need.
