Im old, I get it. I kind of want to find a club that is over 35 and play old music I like. and meet people like me in an older age bracket. why do people feel they can't go dancing or be bopping around town and get a little retarted for fun after 35-40 years of age?
sure its not mature but you have been responsible and mature for a very long time. you're kids are probably grwn if you had any and you're probably divorced. if not from a first marriage maybe a third. youre not looking to settle down but not get slut diseases either.
why cant they figure out how to wipe out all VDs of the world off the planet. that would be cool. no more AIDS, VD or Cancers of any type. why cant the aliens at least give us this and a cure for being old. some shot that wipes out everything, gives us vitality and suddenly a new pair of beautiful teeth grow in and your cock grows an extrea 3 or 4 inches.
women can get wet again and if they're already 50 it doesn't make eggs anymore. no more periods. just wet hot pussy sex for men they want to make happy.
fuck this world is just a strange ghetto of the galaxy.
my boss its in his 50's and him and his wife would go to rock venues all the time because they like the music, yeah they are older but they were just going to go listen to music and hang with each other regardless of the age bracket. older people still go and do things peedy its just you don't, plus you don't have any money lol

There are still clubs like that here in Tejas..."The HOP" was one such club near me (it has closed down now but still...)...that was always 35+ crowd, country/western bars/clubs here also have an older crowd (just ignore the music of course)

here in austin we have a place like that called i forgot, and this girl asked me to go with there and it was full of old relic cowboy men hitting on her, I was like why did you want to drink here?
it was almost as bad as when I went into a lesbo bar downtown, I had these buff girls hitting on my chicken
but yeah my favorite place to go for shows is emos but they made it really bad after they closed down the one downtown and opened up a newer place on riverside but its all corpratey and less punk than before

Thanks Jig. It has to have my music, though. that creates the atmosphere. also at least a 1:3 ratio of women in pairs of 2 not group (they go for free drinks by desperate guys and or lesbians)
but the eclected of people was always amusing as long as there were not buzz killing drunkerd meltdown by someone. just a nice chill vibe (at least most of the time)
a big popular thing that is probably silly to everyone is when they played a extended version of Madness - "One Step Behind" song and it started a bunch of people doing the Rabbit Hop or one of those guy girl guy girl grabbing each others hip and making a long train of kicking your feet out to the side. I think it boosted drink sales at the end of the song.
Almost all of my friends are musicians and have been since being a teenager. They would often play around town. One guy even had a Thursday night gig for years and years at a club that normally attracted 50 plus year olds that I frequented. Damn, I sure do miss my live music.
Here's one of the owners of the abovementioned bar singing some Sinatra on what must be one of the nights they have the guy with the Karaoke machine.

Here's my friend with the long-standing gig playing at another venue a few years back. He's in the wite shirt. Other guitar players may notice he plays left handed with his guitar strings wired backwards...like Hendrix.
