I feel it would be the part where millions of people are able to keep their jobs, and not work, and make more money than they would have if they had continued to work over X amount ofhours.
. But maybe even more so, call that good, but then the essential workers like grocery baggers making min wage, not being privy to that. -

1. You literally cannot just choose to go on unemployment if you are "able" to keep your job.
2. Not everyone who goes on unemployment is making minimum wage. Would you rather further harm those people who used to make more than expanded unemployment? Or make less money available to the minimum wage workers? How about raising the minimum wage?. But maybe even more so, call that good, but then the essential workers like grocery baggers making min wage, not being privy to that.
Privy to what? It's unemployment nigga. How is it in any way be worse to know more money is available in case you lose your job than more if you're a minimum wage worker?
Is the "problem" just being jealous you didn't get fired I guess?
You can't just choose to go on unemployment, you pay into it and it runs out, and you get it when you lose your job. If you're a minimum wage worker and you qualify, it's true for you too. -

That's not how it worked at all.
For an example, I knew a fellow who got on unemployment when his hours were cut due to covid, and was able to continue working just beneath the threshold to continue qualifying for unemployment, while also reaping the benefits of the additional 600 a week.
He was able to work, collect his paycheck, on top of collecting the unemployment.
And I'm not just saying hes my lone example of why it needs fixing. I'm just saying. Its how it worked. At least here in ND. The governor waived the part where you had to keep looking for a job.
Obviously my point is that it was broken to an extent. -
2020-12-22 at 9 AM UTCYou literally and completely could keep your job, and get unemployment benefits including the additional 600 a week.

The whole covid thing is mayan control. At work people call in all the time saying shit like "i went to my lil cuzzin s bday party at my sisters house and might of had it so i might have it sooo cant come into work for the rest of the week"
Its just like people dying of covid in prison..
