anyone that uses that needs to:
- make sure every last molecule of motor oil has been cleaned from the original oil pan threads, using brake-parts cleaner. and i mean saturate the shit out of the threads and scrub them into perfectly clean. then leave alone for long enough for any remnants of brake cleaner to evaporate and get back to the normal temperature.
- use the strongest thread-locker (something like loctite-red) properly. meaning...dont over apply (only a tiny drop is needed)...apply it to the male threads...allow to 'cure' for 24 to 36 hours, depending on the outside air temperature, before adding oil to the crankcase, and obviously not starting the engine. -

you dont need to steal it...you can get it for free.
bring a small, empty container (soda bottle works) into the bathroom...pump as much soap out of the dispenser as you want. or if you need more, use multiple dispensers.

Knowing this and really not wanting to end up on the side of the road stranded with Chell, I think my plan will be to try and at least give it 2 or 3 weeks and then on a halfway decent day I will be ready to fix this.
Maybe I should see about adding some sort of additive to clean it a bit since I will be dumping this oil again so soon.
