Telling someone they're not allowed to talk about comouters because they can't code is like telling a food connoisseur they're a POSER because they don't know the exact ingredients and cooking method of the food they love.
I love tech more than any of you.
You're just a bunch of cucks who are only in it for money -

DVDs are patrician.
A normie plebe like you who has succumbed to the streaming jew just can't understand the importance of tangiblity.
As for "smart" appliances there is literally no need for them except for conditioning people into accepting the surveillance grid. -

I understand tangibility, there is just no point in downloading videos from youtube and then burning them to DVDs when most people in the western world who aren't you have the infrastructure in their homes to stream said videos to any screen in their house, instantly at any time.
I still buy physical video games. I can lend them to people, I'll still own them on the off chance that one gets pulled from digital store fronts or if I lose access to my account. I can also sell them and recoup some of what I paid if I don't like them, a few games for every system even appreciate in value which is nice.
There's a point to that, same as there is to buying retail copies of music or films. Burning stuff you've downloaded from the internet is just an extra step and is pointless. -
2020-12-19 at 12:51 PM UTCIt feels better to have a physical collection.
I have a 24tb nas I used to play videos in kodi but I missed the physical aspect of watching video content.
Also dvds are very useful considering a possible scenario where the hard drive you have videos stored on fails. -

Get an SSD. 99% of the time they lose capacity gradually and not suddenly and lost sections can still be read and copied from even when they can no longer be written to.
I know you won't, and you can like whatever you want to like, but insisting it's a superior way to enjoy media when it's objectively not (because it creates no value or advantages) and advocating it to other people is dumb. -

Thats a pretty reasonable take tbh. I don't like streaming for the most part but it's convenient. Torrents and external drives ftw. -

Optical media is superior though.
Also ssds are not worth it.
Too expensive for the small amount of storage you get. -

Doesn't sound like a rollercoaster to me buddy and i've ridden many a rollercoaster in my day and still do. I'm somewhat of a rollercoaster enthusiast. In fact i am typing this from six flags, as i ride a wooden coaster. And you know bud, what you're describing doesn't really sound like that. It sounds more like a subway to be honest with you, bud. And i really hate the subway. Mostly because it smells like piss, piss up to your ankles. And the occasional magic hobo.
This one time, i was riding the subway to the city. And a hobo walked into the compartment i was in. He cracked open a beer. Got out a station later, then three stations after that, i swear to God, this hobo comes aboard again, beer still in hand.
That's how i met your mother, i mean the magic hobo. True story, like for real i didn't make the hobo or his teleporting powers up. -

I've been on over 9000 rollercoasters. I once waited in line for 75 minutes to ride the batman coaster at six flags in Chicago. I KNOW lollercoasters. -
