I do have this toaster oven that I bought for close to $400 some time ago. It has an air fry setting, I think, but unlike what I saw on airfryer videos that I looked up, it doesn't use any toxic non-stick surfaces.
I mostly use it as a footrest. I keep it under the table, and put a pillow on top of it to rest my feet on. I rate it a 8/10 as a foot rest, because sometimes the pillow moves and the door kinda opens. Also sometimes its kinda noisy if I bang on it with my feet. The rubber legs stop it from moving around too much on the carpeting, which is nice.
As an oven its also about a 6/10. Its large enough to bake an AK, as it will fit a 16 inch barrel easily. So you can paint all your metal parts and bake the finish on no problem, it goes to pretty high heat if needed. Its only a 6/10 tho because of the price, its a nice fucking footrest that can also bake rifles. I used it twice to bake some guns, and use it almost daily for a footrest.
Overall 7/10, would fuck.
You want to know more about my overpriced toaster oven that I use to bake paint onto gun parts, you can read about it here

Reading through the material, it does indeed have an air-fry setting.
What are you all niggas using your air fryers for? Im wanting to get drunk and air-fry some shit now that I just discovered I've been resting my feet on a kitchen appliance that is seemingly very coveted here in NIS. -
2020-12-17 at 10:26 PM UTCShould I make some chechen (chicken?) wings with my air fryer? I saw a recipe while looking up information on air fryers.

I find it funny that NIS nigs are going out of their way buying air fryers. I read online that its a current fad. I also find it amusing that I've been using one as a foot rest for over half a year. I'll be due to paint some parts with it here soon. -

Ye, I could have looked around to find a more appropriate one, but, I had a day off, which, in the summer time is rare. So I just found the nearest oven that can accommodate larger parts, and fast. If I can earn $600 on a good day, then whats it to me?
Sometimes you have money but no time, other times you have time but no money. -
2020-12-18 at 12:06 AM UTCdid I seriously type pant backing
I should get checked for a tumour -
2020-12-18 at 12:23 AM UTCGonna run this oven @ highest heat for an hr before I clean it after I let it cool off. It doesn't actually smell like paint at all since ive only used it once or twice for paint (aluma-hyde), which is epoxy based and mostly lists volatile ingredients as acetone, toluene, xylene, and ethylbenzene. I hear that powder coating leaves the longest lasting smell, finny probably has some knowledge on this but is banned despite his main accounts ban being expired. It kinda smells like factory oils still, which you should burn off before cooking anyway.
I air fry some chicken wings tonight, but only because NIS is apparently crazy for air fryers. -
2020-12-18 at 12:54 AM UTChave you tried duracoat? I've been thinking of getting some since I can't find anywhere to buy cerakote

Nope. I used to use some basic engine enamell commonly found in auto parts stores to touch up paint on reworked, sporterized Russian rifles 10yrs ago, since it was only small unnoticeable sections that needed paint and matched the original fairly well. Now I paint entire rifles but disassembled into individual parts, as the parts are from tbe 70s and usually lack any finish.
I have heard of ceracoat cracking, though ive no experience. This alumahyde stuff has been decent so far, as long as you apply it correctly, which I did not since I was shitfaced drunk while doing it. Still seems durable enough, and doesn't seem to flake if you make sure to degrease the parts very well first. -

$400 vs $20 just seems wasteful; I figure I'd have to go out of my way to find a toaster oven worth that much -
