I love how their songs are so detailed and layered.
It's like listening to a horror or science fiction film.
The way they take a synth and drum machine song and then add in all the textures, samples, noise and everything is what makes them so awesome.
There has never been a band to come close to that sound, the most similar band I've come across is Propergol but his music is dark ambient and death industrial.
When I get a real grip on music theory and making songs I'm gonna make music like Skinny Puppy but incorporate harsh noise and anime samples into the mix. -
