Wrong, one just sold on Ebay last night for $56...and it was only the camera on it's own.
Again I paid $2...if this sells for $ 60...well you can do the math.
Stay poor and clueless my friend while I rake in the cashola on "worthless tat". -

I had that exact camera and left it in my car and it was stolen from the people who worked on it. or I believe their nephew.
it was pretty common model back then.
too bad it's not a canon, the canons have never changed the fixtures of a change out lens and it would fit even a DSLR of today. and they're pretty pricey. even the crappy cheap ones are 200 bucks for a telephoto. good ones are above 1200 bucks -
2020-12-04 at 1:12 PM UTCThere was a roll of used and undeveloped film in it too, for a second I thought about having it developed to see what was on it, then I decided I was too cheap for that.

did they not know it was shot on already? Imagine if you had it exposed and when you went to your friendly Walgreens (or whatever) to have a looksie, the police and FBI where there waiting for you to haul you off for 30 year old murders committed while being filmed.
I got it just recently. Paid 2.02USD for it. Honestly.
Sure you did. -

2020-12-04 at 1:22 PM UTCNot selling though...I mean you can list anything on Ebay but it doesn't mean it's going to sell. Looking at sales history on completed auctions I'm guessing I'll get about $60 for it.

Or kiddy porn...that's the reason I abandoned plans to have it developed. -

LOL that could also make you a hero when they do confirm your purchase. but dont you have a built in developer station in your bathroom or some shit? something simple. a walk in closet and a red developer light? I could never developed film. something in the prime solution that would make me wheeze like a mother fucker. so I didn't take photography again. it was something you had to do to finish the course.
40 years later well 20 but 2000 was when 5mpx came out. I have digital photos my former brother in law took of our Christmas in 2000 which are actually very nice. printable almost to todays standards.
At least I learned something about ISO film speed .. though you have the shutter speed and have to mix the digital ISO to balance the two. its nice trying to get a great photo without auto mode. or blurring out everything but the subject in f-stop is neat. Is that a light sensor with a hotshoe? a lot of the DSLRs only come with cold shoes now because everything that attaches usually have batteries built in, like shotgun mics and shit. -
2020-12-04 at 1:54 PM UTCI used to be into the photography thing (astro photography) back in the late 80s and was all about fuji 400asa. Lot of work, 3hr long exposure shots of various deepsky objects only to have it developed and find you didn't quite have it tracking correctly so it was streaked. I gave up in the end. DSLRs get around that now due to the immediate feedback, and tracking computers on telescopes are much more accurate too...back then I was using a clock motor with a potentiometer on it to adjust the tracking and again, you only saw the results after you got the film developed.
I never did my own developing though I had a guy who did that for me and would use various techniques to get the best results out of my photos (more detail/contrast etc) -
