I've stolen pills and petty amounts of money from my immediate family, just little petty shit in the pursuit of getting high and furthering my destiny as a true drug addict. I've also had psychotic episodes that have caused me to think crazy things. Maybe I am crazy, but I'm definitely not as out of touch as others may have believed, even in my worst state of psychosis I ride the rollercoaster of that timeloop with the best of them.

Agreed.
We've all been there at some point and hopefully most of us have learned never to repeat that mistake. I was a fucked up brother, a fucked up son, a fucked up friend and pretty much just fucked up all around. I wish i coulda undone the douche i was then. These days its either "hopefully" forgiven or forgotten.
The worst you can do is to massively disappoint the people you love and whom loves you.

when I wanted to get high I got high. when I wanted to stop, truly, I found a way and began working on what I truly needed in life. basically my twenties were totally wasted as a homeless junk fiend but as I matured (and did time) I came to realize that life is much better not addicted to a dopeman and it took me years to figure it out
