Is marriage and work important to you?

Or do you just not care?

i've never had a job but unless you're doing something a mongol can't do, it's just a means to an end. that's one of the reasons college is useful- finding a job where you can actually use your talents, and where there are actual benefits to being smarter and faster than everyone around you. college is fun too if you're smarter and faster than everyone because people view you as "that guy" who inherently gets respect, and it's fun to have social interaction with likeminded people as well as hit on chicks, or at least just look at them.

marriage is good because it provides some stability in life. its hard to find a woman that you won't absolutely detest but when you do it's like having a best friend who's even closer to you. plus reproduction is one of the few ways to actually make a lasting imprint on this earth and beat darwin, but unless you have someone stable to form babby with you're going to have a bunch of Bill Krozbyotypes running around pissing in every butt they can find. for now drugs fill the emotional void, but a steady relationship is the only thing i've found to bring some happiness in life that isn't deadly or bad. i don't give a fuck about sex because i can pop a box of zills and feel a hundred times better, but being consistently cared for is different.

work: not particularly. I don't feel like I am, or really ever will, work in a context that means anything more to me than a paycheck and maybe some recognition every now and again.

marriage: I've been in a relationship for a long time; I think it's enough. in this country marriage and defacto relationships have virtually the same protections so there's no legal imperative. Culturally, given that marriages are no longer considered to be permanent or between a man and a woman and the basis for a family, it just seems to me to be an exercise to show off how much money you can throw at a ceremony. perhaps if I were to have a kid I'd consider it.

work is the way to keep yourself productive and "in line" mentally and physically whether illegal or legal

hard work teaches you to appreciate not working more
