I wanted to make this a poll but I don't know if their are regional names for stores or if some chains only operate in some places.
Looking for you to post big name ones and why you picked them.
Please don't be a retard with this.
Quite frankly I find everything in auto parts stores where I am to be overpriced and generally not all that great.
About the only thing I even drop into them anymore for is cheap shit that doesn't cost much even if the price is jacked up.

Napa. They may be more for parts. But it’s not like auto Zone with refurbished parts.

Any brick and mortar store is going to cost more than the internet. They have to make a profit in order to stay in business. They have rent and employees salaries to pay as well as maintenance and utilities, etc.
You're paying for the convenience of being able to get that part you need on a Sunday so you can make it to work on Monday. You can also bring shit up on their computer to help you see what the problem might be. Auto Zone allows you the use of their diagnostic plug-in scanner to pull up and/or clear trouble codes.
Sure, I'll order something cheaper from the net if the issue can wait, however, I'm sure glad the brick and mortar auto parts stores are there. I replaced my struts and shocks on my main driver this spring and bought the parts on-line. Now, I'd gladly go to Auto Zone if I broke a fan belt and the car wouldn't run without it and be thankful I could.

I use to always go to Orielly but the last few years everytime I go in there it seems like there is only 1 person sort of working and that the staff really doesn't seem to be in much of a hurry to do anything for a customer.
My choices of stores is usually O'reilly, Advanced, or Autozone and they are all right next to each other.
Lately I have just been going to Advanced but I still don't buy much of anything even when I do go.
Half the time I walk in and see how much they are charging and I leave and go order it online.
The Autozone is there and I have gone to it a couple times in the last year but honestly their prices are just the same.
Id go to Autozone everytime but their location is just a hair off for it to be convenient for me.
Now I have a Pep Boys near by and I haven't been in there in probably 6 or 7 years. I think I am going to go and see what their prices and selection looks like again.

They have a place called Pick 'n Pull which is basically a scrap yard, you find what you need in a junk car, pull it out yourself and then pay them to take it with you.
