2020-11-08 at 7:11 PM UTCNo, I don’t use any of that. I’m content posting here, that’s all I need. I try to keep things private, doesn’t always work, it’s just not my bag.

Facebook just sucks. I don't use it either. It's mostly for 30-70yr olds. -

Honey no. I didn’t grow up with computers at all. I enjoy chatting on here, but when I’m off it’s hubby or me time, etc., etc.
Just like you probably can’t fathom not always having computers around, I can’t fathom not having personal interaction as opposed to digital.

2020-11-09 at 4:02 AM UTCWell I grew up poor so I didn't have computers for a lot of my life which is why I appreciate it so much now that i'm older.
Back in the day it was all texting and chatting on the phone, getting girls with the computer was the best way but I had to stick to the classic picking up phone numbers and actually talking to girls. I made fun of my friend that used online dating, but when I started using it I was blown away and totally addicted to it.
When I was a kid if you wanted to play video games you had to bring your controller and memory card to their house. Nowadays it's all online with these kids -

shits crazy man, when I was a kid I wasn't allowed to have a console, just computers, so when I played consoles it was just when I went to friends houses. -

not completely true.. tons of younger people like to socialize and work and get to know their co-workers. It's just on this site a lot of people here are shut ins. But yeah I'm not a big phone talker unless its something urgent or something I need to get out but before meeting girls online, I'd at least give them a call to talk voice to voice for a second to let them know what I'm about and a lot of girls would be surprised I called up and liked that I did compared to other guys.
That or they would be totally closeted like, Umm heey why ar u callin me?" lol?!" I mean I just figured it would be a step in an direction towards getting to know someone that you're going to meet up with in a public or private space..
It's crazy out there. I consider my self pretty introverted but I can turn myself on to be good to people.
My neighbor he's about 10 years younger than me and we hang out every now and then because we're into some of the same stuff but his girlfriend who's actually an up and coming teacher here in austin is super introverted to where I thought I was being dissed by her but its not even that I realized. Some people are just really shy and don't know how to take someone being friendly I guess.
I think I've mentioned this before but when the whole covid shit hit the fan in april some older people were jogging that morning and some sweet lady said "hey good morning how are you?" with a very sincere smile and she caught me off guard and I told her, "pretty well yourself?" and we smiled at each other and it felt good.
A few days ago I was walking down the street and some lil girl was in her yard with her dad and she caught my attention and blurted "hey good morning!" wavving at me smiling and I said "good morning to you cute stuff" and gave her dad a head nod. It felt good to friendly and especially when you don't see it coming in world full or war sickness and hate and disease. -
