it doesn't mention it on wikipedia but I recall youtube existing prior to google purchasing it. and everyone worried about it policing videos placed on there for the most minor offenses
it's becoming a sort of nazi like policing which isn't just the ACLU its been attacked by the far NEO-Cons when people were bitching about George bush in the least years after google purchased.
