That's bullshit. You have to speak English to be a doctor in most countries. It's on the MCAT here. Probably have to do it to get your license as well. Most study here, because a doctorate from their country wouldn't be enough to practice in America.

I never had any problems with the healthcare here. Always been perfectly adequate for me tbh.

Nope, they're sovereign. They're on the border of China. Internationally they are their own country with a different passport and legal system and currency.

International community can turn that switch off quite easily. China's is violating the terms of the UK transfer. Technically, UK can void the contract on the basis that China has breached it, making Hong Kong a part of the British empire again. That means Chinese troops are currently on NATO soil.

The UK leased hong kong from china which expired in 1997, so it has nothing to do with the UK anymore. the UN cant unilaterally do a switcheroo on britain's whim like that, any such move will be vetoed by china at the very least.

Doesn't matter about the lease. Not even the same China they leased it from. The China they leased it from, ceased to exist during the civil war. As did their debts.

On December 19, 1984, after years of negotiations, British and Chinese leaders signed a formal pact approving the 1997 turnover of the colony in exchange for the formulation of a “one country, two systems” policy by China’s communist government. Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher called the agreement “a landmark in the life of the territory, in the course of Anglo-Chinese relations, and in the history of international diplomacy.” Hu Yaobang, the Chinese Communist Party’s secretary-general, called the signing “a red-letter day, an occasion of great joy” for China’s one billion people.

They've breached the conditions of the turnover, by disallowing the Hong Kong system. HK is British again. Chinese troops ought to get the fuck off NATO soil before article 5 gets invoked.

To clarify, this lease became void when the motherfucking Qing dynasty ended in 1912. The lease was signed in 1894.

Literally everyone complains about taxes. Filing them is an inconvenience, and paying them is to many steps removed from any tangible benefit people end up receiving as a result (or when the effects are more blatant like with universal healthcare, needed too infrequently to seem worthwhile).

Seriously, people in the UK are complaining too. All the time. People in Canada. People in every place where the government permits complaint are at this very moment complaining about the government. And they're all equally justified. It's not like Americans are unique in this regard.

Then why does it matter if Americans are complaining? Are they to become the only nation on Earth in which people don't complain about taxes? smh

This is just more anti-American propaganda from NIS's resident La Raza member.

Thank you, infinity. It's not a fault in capitalism. It's a fault with crony capitalism. Capitalism by itself is good...you own what you produce and are free to trade it. When paperwork starts getting complex.... that's when you should be smelling fraud.
