do you know if he had any international influence [i.e. russia] to pursue all these plans to overthrow the japanese government with all these human-pesticides?
sometimes i like to think because he was visually disabled & always doped up on lsd somehow the russians or whoever duped him into getting involved with all this shit & was just using him as a pawn since he was visually impaired. [i'm not sure if i used that term correctly] so they can pursue their evil deeds against western society.
who knows, though -- maybe the guy was just an evil 100% sociopathic asshole and all this shit was entirely his his idea.

Yeah I heard reports they had friends in high places in the Soviet military willing to liquidate their stockpiles, but never any specifics.
They put a lot of energy into becoming self-sufficient though; they somehow attracted a lot more well-educated doctors and engineers than most similar cults. As far as I know they never actually bought chemical weapons (aside from those virus samples) but synthed them and built the delivery systems themselves, which is probably why they fucked up that subway attack - it was a very early effort compared to state bioweapons programmes at the time. When they got raided they were building/buying hardware to construct their own rifles, grenades etc. from their own designs -

Disappointing to think that if I'd joined Aum back in the day, I'd probably have just been one of those retards sitting in a box buried in the ground starving myself to death out of religious devotion and not at all involved with any of the cool stuff like weapons procurement/design/manufacture. -
