A fresh wave of ransomware attacks has struck almost two dozen United States hospitals and health care organizations in recent weeks, just as Covid-19 cases spike across the US. According to US intelligence agencies and cybersecurity professionals, the situation could soon become much worse.
On Wednesday evening, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Department of Health and Human Services warned that there is a "an increased and imminent cybercrime threat to US hospitals and health care providers," above and beyond the wave of attacks that have already occurred. The alert points to the notorious Trickbot trojan and Ryuk ransomware as the primary hacking tools involved in the attacks. Security analysts at private companies say that the activity is tied to the Russian criminal gang sometimes called UNC 1878 or Wizard Spider.
WTF, now hospitals during a pandemic? -

2020-10-30 at 10:52 AM UTCcombination of valuable data, difficulty to enforce security and a lot of people with access to systems they don't really understand
there's not really any moral aspect to ransomware, they just work the numbers -

Because hospital workers...especially doctors...are literally the dumbest motherfuckers this side of the loony bin. -

Hard to look at it that way if you’re a victim, but I understand what you’re saying. This is to me the most significant cyber threat that we’ve experienced in the US to date," says Charles Carmakal, senior vice president and chief technical officer of the cybersecurity firm Mandiant, which is owned by FireEye. "There is a moral line that every person, just as a human being, recognizes exists—when you do something knowing that you are potentially impacting somebody’s life you’ve crossed the line. So there’s a very clear crossing of the line by this threat actor. This group is incredibly brazen, heartless, relentless."

Or should that info be put into your hands😂 -
2020-10-30 at 11:21 AM UTCPeople don't understand it. Sure some top doctors or the people who run the Hospitals at the top might make some big figures while employed.
but the truth is, Most hospitals are losing money. they're basicly non profit with only 20 percent after overhead (as a general estimation) is made for any profit share holders. not every year brings in profit. its expensive to run. staff doesn't really make good money in most states and often have to go on strike. draining the system.
hospitals really need to be aided by the Government over anything else. too many single moms (with intent to live off of Welfare) collecting welfare and huge section 8 vouchers to sit and grow weed in the attic while spending their babies 250 a month allowances. Biden will make sure that still goes on while he only promises to fund hospitals. -

You're wrong on every account.
Kikes run the majority of the investment firms that own health care facilities. They fuck with the figures to make them seem how they do. If you think hospitals aren't cash cows look at the net-worth of the boards of directors of the investment firms that own medical facilities. Those million dollar mansion were paid for by poor people paying $500 for a band aid. -

it's hard to say this without bragging, but I already know a lot more about the matter than most 'industry experts'. there are a few people on here that you could say the same of.
it just doesn't interest me all that much anymore, and it's a dirty game to play -

I would also think time would play into it as well. The urgency may mean quicker pay outs as other solutions, if they exist, may be too slow to implement if LIVES ARE AT STAKE -

yea, almost all healthcare workers dont know that they're enablers of this vast amd monsterous medical industrial complex and that they toiled days and nights to help widening the income inequality gap between medical feudal lords and the commoners.
there simply is no reason for doctors in the US to own mansions, yatches, vacation houses and sport cars whike doctors in cuba that do the same, or more could only afford a fiat punto. -
